SAMIR HARB
PRINTS, COMICS AND ILLUSTRATIONS

I am an architect and geographer who works through drawing, printmaking and comics. My work grows from a love of landscape — valleys, olive trees, stone walls, terraced fields — and how they hold beauty and pain at once.
Much of it comes from memory and longing for a land under pressure. To construct a narrative is to claim power over it, and comics are how I do that: the page decides what is seen, in what order, and who is speaking.
